Texarkana Thanksgiving

We visited the Halls on Friday for some fellowship, food and puzzle-ing.

Thanksgiving is here!

We did Thanksgiving big this year. On Thursday we went to the Hub Theatre where our sister in law in law and her beau hosted 30+ folks. It was good food and great company and we're hoping they will make it an annual event (hint hint).
PS- that very night 'Phia actually grabbed her pacifier ('fie) and put it in her mouth herself! We tried to get her to do it again for the camera but she was not about that!

Take your daughter to work day (aka the daycare is closed today)

Sophia came to work with me on the day before Thanksgiving and had lots of fun all over the Blanton buliding!

Sophia's Dedication

Sophia was dedicated to our Lord and Savior tonight. She was surrounded by her beloved family and our wonderful church family as well. And, of course, Sophia being Sophia, she created the stinkiest diaper you can imaging as we were standing up at the front getting dedicated. Who says the Lord doesn't have a sense of humor?

Music Geek Night with Daddy

Sophia got to hang out with her Daddy, Bill and Tim for Music Geek Night. She had fun and got tons of love and listened to lots of talk about obscure recordings of their favorite musicians. Bill even taught her how to throw up the horns! Sophia LOVES Music Geek Night!

Getting Bigger

If you will notice from the picture 'Phia is now holding her head up! Here she is on her daddy's lap, in her bumbo and talking with Gracie at Jack's piano recital. When she gets a bit older she's gonna LOVE playing with Jack, Riley and Grace!

Cousin Katie came to visit!

Greg & Claudia welcome Grace into the world!

My dear friends Greg & Claudia had their baby girl yesterday! I'm so excited!I took Sophia up to meet Grace right after work. Grace is so cutie cute and she has so much hair. I just want to eat her cheeks! Here are pics of mom, dad and baby. She and Sophia will be getting into all kinds of trouble over the years!

'Phia's Phirst Halloween

Well, our first Halloween was fairly non-eventful. Since Chris and I are both sick we did not go to any Halloween partys. Instead, we sat at home, watched 'Phia sleep and blew our noses. However, she did come to my weekly team breakfast to show off her pumpkin costume and get some love.
