Greg & Claudia welcome Grace into the world!

My dear friends Greg & Claudia had their baby girl yesterday! I'm so excited!I took Sophia up to meet Grace right after work. Grace is so cutie cute and she has so much hair. I just want to eat her cheeks! Here are pics of mom, dad and baby. She and Sophia will be getting into all kinds of trouble over the years!

'Phia's Phirst Halloween

Well, our first Halloween was fairly non-eventful. Since Chris and I are both sick we did not go to any Halloween partys. Instead, we sat at home, watched 'Phia sleep and blew our noses. However, she did come to my weekly team breakfast to show off her pumpkin costume and get some love.

Our first sicky

Well, we knew it would happen. A week after 'Phia started day care she got sick. She had RSV which is basically a really bad cold. But in little kiddles it's harder for them to cough up the lung butter that gets produced so our peditrician sent us the the hospital. She was there 3 days getting nebbed, suctioned and prodded. It was stressful, exhausting, tearful and not so much fun. But, what matters is that the staff at Medical City helped our tadpole on the way to a full recovery. She's still a little sicky and she gave it to Chris and I (someone needs to tell that girl to cover her mouth when she coughs)but in a week or so we'll all be back to our good health. Just in time for mommy to use her to get free halloween candy!

Here are some pics of her hospital stay. We made her a little nest in her bed out of blankets so she'd be super cozy.

Dress Up

Grandma Honie made 'Phia her christening gown. I couldn't wait for the baby dedication at church so I dressed her up in it now.

The blanket with matching bear is from the grandma of our dear friend Darrah. As you can see 'Phia felt the need to dress down since Bear dressed up.
